We enjoyed staying in a stylish, spacious room with a beautiful view of the garden and park, and the location was superb, just a stone's throw away from Lake Constance.

The old farytale clasic vila, with private garden, on the lake, so close to Constance, and yet so quiet. Wonderful view of Constance skyline with red sunset sky from the beautiful promenade near the lake. We must return when there is no fog on the lake. Very nice staff, we got the room before check in time, and although it was a holiday , we got breakfast at 7am ( instead of 8) because we had to catch an early flight. And what a breakfast!!!! The best omlete I ever tasted, I felt like in the best chef restaurant. We definitely got the worth of our money.

House has some character, particularly if you like unique decor and stuffed animals - though may not be everyone's idea of luxury. Breakfast was the strong point. The food was excellent with full breakfast served to your order. Coffee, bread, cheese, fruit salad and speck omelet were excellent. Service was very friendly. Location is beautiful along the bodensee just over the bridge from the old town of Konstanz.
Not very modern. Beds and bedding were not new and decor is somewhat tired, though comfortable. Recommendation would be mainly based on location.

This hotel is truly unique and well worth the price. The attention to detail in the décor is fantastic, with heavy wooden furniture and rooms with a view. Breakfast is a real treat with historical furniture and nicely decorated tables. The location is perfect, right on the promenade alongside the lake in a very good neighbourhood.
All was great, I couldn't ask for more.

Hotel was just right, I thoroughly enjoyed the stay.
food was delicious and i have nothing but truly memorable memories from this trip. fairly clean hotel with a unique design and particularly good views, it has a stunning location very close to the lakeside and a ferry to other lakeside gems such as lindau, meersburg or mainau island and the lovely garden by the sea. the service was excellent. there was free wi-fi that worked well throughout the property.

I loved the location away from the main city. The hotel was lovely, like the Old South in the US,
No iron

This place is located on the beautiful shores of Bodensee, making it a perfect spot for a relaxing vacation. the location is very reserved, so it's quiet and peaceful, yet it's close to the center. the view is amazing as it is situated by the sea. the rooms are very clean and comfortable, decorated with some uniquely charming items from around the world.
Although the hotel is an oasis of calm, the decor may not be everyone's taste and might come off as a bit eclectic and strange.

Staying at this hotel was one of the best decisions I made. I stayed in a room on one of the upper floors with a veranda that opened up to a stunning view of the lake. The hotel facilities were fantastic, and the garden was beautiful to walk around in. The location was perfect- being right on the lake and having the option to take a stroll along it or walk into town made it easy to see this city. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and breakfast was always delicious.
Was all great.

I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel's attention to detail. The rooms were cozy and had heavy wooden furniture, giving them a charming, rustic feel. The staff were very friendly and the service was excellent. I particularly enjoyed the breakfast, which had a good variety of options including vegan choices. Additionally, the hotel's location on the northern shore of Lake Constance was perfect, in a very good neighborhood near the casino and right on the lake. The view from the hotel's garden was absolutely stunning.
All in all, my stay at this hotel was great and I couldn't find anything to complain about.

I had a fantastic stay at a hotel by the beautiful shores of Bodensee. The atmosphere and charm were truly unique, and the staff were incredibly hospitable. The room I stayed in was a sensory delight, decorated with thought and imagination. The location was perfect, close enough to the city but still remote and quiet. I highly recommend this hotel, it's a truly magical experience.

A charming hideaway near the lake promenade, with friendly staff and a delicious breakfast. The eclectic mix of old and new in my room was a refreshing change. I loved having a private covered veranda to watch a thunderstorm over the lake.
The small shower room and lack of soundproofing were less than ideal. , the lack of flexibility for check-out and absence of staff after certain hours took away from the feeling of being fully taken care of.

No negative aspects to mention, everything was ok.

A great escape to welcome the New Year! Wonderful views of the lake from the room where we spent most of our nights with great comfort. the hotel offers an amazing atmosphere with an environment that's perfect for enjoying the winter. the breakfast spread was not just delicious but also very generous. Loved the beautiful garden surrounding the hotel that made us feel refreshed and relaxed.
We stayed in room 1 on the ground floor which was beautiful but it wasn't very private as we had to keep the curtains closed as it was near the parking lot. A room on one of the upper floors or the one facing the lake would have provided more privacy.
